General Information
Emergencies and Provo Police Dispatch Numbers
For life-threatening emergencies, call 911.
For non-emergency police matters, contact the Provo Police Department at (801) 852-6210.
Emergency Maintenance
If you experience a maintenance emergency—such as a fire, major water leak, gas smell, or complete loss of heat in winter—call the office number immediately. If there’s no answer, continue calling until you reach someone.
Garbage
The Casa Dea Dumpster is located in the back parking lot. Please do not leave garbage outside your front door.
Always keep the dumpster lid closed to maintain cleanliness and prevent wind or animals from spreading trash. Please break down all boxes and place all garbage inside the dumpster. If the dumpster is full, please place garbage neatly behind the dumpster. Do not park in front of the dumpster to ensure access for garbage collection.
If you notice overflowing garbage or other issues with the dumpster area, please notify management.
Hanging Decorations
If you’d like to hang things on your walls, we recommend using small nails instead of Command hooks, since the adhesive can peel off paint and damage the wall. For anything heavier — like a TV, large mirror, or shelf — please reach out to the office first. Our maintenance team is happy to help make sure it’s installed safely and securely.
Keys
Please do not duplicate your keys.
Each tenant is issued one key for their apartment door. To pick up your apartment key, please contact the office to arrange a time for collection. Each apartment also has a shared key set that provides access to the lounge, storage cages, laundry room, and mailboxes. Please note that the laundry room and storage cages use the same key.
If you lose a key, contact the office to have a replacement issued. A $45 lost key fee will apply.
Mailboxes
The Casa Dea mailboxes are located on the northside of the Women's building next to the side door of the office and Rent Drop Box. Each apartment is assigned one mailbox key, which is shared by the roommates. Please make sure to check your mail regularly so it doesn't build up.
If you receive mail for someone who does not live in your apartment, cross out the address, write “Not at this address – Return to Sender,” and place it in the outgoing mailbox (located to the left of the mailboxes). If you are moving out, please remember to set up mail forwarding with USPS to avoid lost or returned mail.
Maintenance
For non-emergency maintenance requests, please text or email us a detailed description (for example: “the right bathroom sink drips constantly” instead of just “sink drips”). If you do not hear back from us within a week, please follow up, as your request may have been overlooked.
Office
The Office is located at 660 North 200 East, Provo, Utah 84606.
The office entrance is located on the ground floor of the Women’s Building, accessible through the west glass door or the northwest door. Office hours are by appointment only. Appointments are typically used for move-in coordination, document pickup, or in-person meetings.
To set up an appointment, you can call, text, or email the office. Texting or calling is usually the fastest way to reach us during business hours. We check texts and emails daily during the week and typically respond within one business day, especially during regular hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM).
Outdoor Areas and Entryways
Please help us keep the community clean and welcoming by maintaining the area outside your apartment. Do not leave trash, dirty shoes, or personal items outside your front door, and avoid objects like wet laundry from railings. Items like tires, boxes, or clutter should not be stored outside your unit.
If you decorate for holidays, such as carving pumpkins, please dispose of them promptly before they begin to rot or create a mess. Keeping entryways neat and free of debris helps maintain a pleasant environment for everyone.
Packages
Please note that packages are not delivered to the office. All packages should be delivered directly to your apartment door by the delivery company. If a package is missing, please contact the delivery company directly to help locate it.
If you receive a package for someone who no longer lives in your apartment, please bring it to the office, and we will attempt to contact the former resident to arrange its return.
Pets
There are NO pets allowed at our apartments.
No animals or pets of any kind shall be kept or harbored in or about the unit. The fine for having a pet is $200 plus any damage done to the apartment plus any cleaning fees. Tenant will be asked to remove the pet from the premises or asked to move.
Rent Drop Box
There is a rent drop box located to the right of the mailboxes, next to the office door, where you can securely leave rent checks, keys, or paperwork for the office.
